Yes, it's true, this morning, nearly 85 accordions squeezed together in Reporting and proceeded to blow the woolen caps off an impromptu audience of book buyers; as I type a crowd of Middle-Earth enthusiasts are either casting spells or making conversation, from the looks of things, outside our office door; and in about an hour Molly and I will be performing together for the first time, in a front of a live audience. It's an "In or Out" kind of day here at Common Good Books, but the real news is outside the store, next to the bathrooms. (And it's not that everybody tried the cake and has to go at once.) The water fountain is about to hit 1,000! We did it! Alright, alright... we're going to!
