EVENT l Matthew Batt

It's a bird, it's a plane, it's a popular Midwestern poet! For the third night in a row, it's a full house at Common Good Books. All week long we've hosted evenings of poetry, politics, and espionage, with Heid E. Erdrich, Katherine Stewart, and Alan Furst stopping in to say hello and (right, obviously) read. What's more, the summer's just begun, and it's only getting hotter...

Don't miss our upcoming summer events, starting off with local author Matthew Batt for an evening of, you guessed it, crack! Batt reads from Sugarhouse: Turning the Nieghborhood Crack House into Our Home Sweet Home on Tuesday, July 10th at 7:00 p.m.

Get a literary taste of what's in store by reading Batt's recent Q&A in The New York Times. And check back next week for Common Good Books' own interview, when Colin learns the working definition of both "crack" and "tools."
